Emmaus is a different homelessness charity. We don’t just offer a bed for the night; we offer a home, meaningful work and the opportunity to regain control of your life. For many people who have experienced homelessness, the loss of self-esteem and deteriorating mental health can be one of the biggest obstacles to overcome. By offering a stable home, something purposeful to do every day and the opportunity to help others in greater need than yourself, Emmaus helps to restore this self-esteem and gives companions the support and opportunities to move forward with their lives in a positive way.
