Baby Basics Northampton provide Moses baskets and baths full of essential items for new mums who are vulnerable and in need of this vital support. In just over 9 1/2 years we have helped nearly 1800 families have a better start with their baby. Our service covers the whole of Northamptonshire. Referrals are made to us during pregnancy from midwives, health visitors, healthcare professionals, refuges, charities, family support workers, churches, schools and charities. We work closely with these professionals to provide a reliable service that people can trust. The women they are working with include teenage mums, women seeking asylum, women fleeing domestic abuse and trafficking and families in financial need.
