United Synagogue CHESED Fund - Essential Food Parcels
Our essentials food parcels were developed to ensure that people do not go hungry. They are offered, free of charge, to people who are self-isolating and cannot go out to buy food and/or to people who are in financial need. They come in 2 sizes, one for a single person/couple and one for a bigger family. Most of the items are non-perishable food, but we have also included some household items and toiletries that are needed for day to day living. This list is to top up the basic and Kosher items that are provided separately. Each synagogue can apply for parcels for its members on a weekly basis.
